Elena's family is originally from Michigan, but they're currently living in Mexico. Elena was seen by three doctors in the United States, two recommending surgery, the third, Dr. Noonan, recommending the Ponseti Method to try to avoid surgery. La familia de Elena es de Michigan, E.U.A., pero radicaron en Colima, Mexico. Elena visitó a tres medicos en los E.U.A. Dos de ellos recomendaron una cirugia. El tercero, Dr. Noonan, recomendó el metodo Ponseti para evitar la probabilidad de una cirugia.
