Mason started treatment with a local doctor when he was 2 days old. His family took him to another doctor who treated him until he was five months old. At that time they were told he needed surgery. After reading about Dr. Ponseti on the internet, Mason's family took him to Iowa in late December of 2000. Mason's foot was corrected by Dr. Ponseti with casting sessions for six weeks and a tenotomy. |
